Great.... while it lasted
Great mug. I enjoyed the size and the color of the mug. Unfortunately, the handle just broke off as I was washing it after 2 years of coffee consumption. Going to try a competitor for my next mug.

A reactive glaze over stoneware, in yellow. The kiln finishes the band where the colours meet, so this piece carries the same glaze as the one photographed and a pattern of its own.
Holds 21 oz to the brim, sold singly, made for tea, coffee.
Capacity: 21 oz

Reactive glaze carries mineral oxides that travel while the piece fires. Thickness, kiln position and the shape underneath all pull the boundary between the colours around, so speckles land differently and a fade can sit higher or lower on the next piece.
When stacking glass or ceramic items for storage, place a cushion of soft material between each piece.

This is my husband’s absolute favorite coffee mug, and after our toddler tested its durability by throwing it across the room (spoiler: it didn’t survive), we immediately repurchased it!The size is perfect—21 oz means plenty of coffee or tea without constant refills. It’s sturdy, comfortable to hold, and has a nice weight without being too heavy. The design is beautiful, with a unique glaze and a slightly rustic feel that looks even better in person. Plus, it’s microwave and dishwasher safe, which is a must for us.If you’re looking for a high-quality, stylish, and functional mug, this one is absolutely worth it. Just maybe keep it out of reach of little hands!
Such a great mug! I love the size- it’s huge, gorgeous and reminiscent of the pottery stoneware vibe I was looking for. I looked all over Etsy & eBay for something similar and came across some very pretty but very expensive ones. For the price, this was a great deal. The only thing I’d mention is the middle band in the photo looks very pink but in person it’s more of a taupe / beige. And the top isn’t quite as iridescent as I’d have thought. But given the nature of ceramics/glazing I’d imagine each one will be different, so as long as you keep that in mind. The glazing isn’t too bad, it has a lot of texture and ripples which I love, and I’m a fan of the drip effect and speckling. It’s also the perfect size for running a full sized Vertuo Nespresso pod 2x. With the foam it reaches the top and still leaves room for syrup or cream or whatever and I end up w. an awesome 16oz cup of coffee.I’ve microwaved it, run it through the dishwasher & hand washed it and never had any problems- it’s very sturdy, heavy & thic. Will last awhile I feel. Reached me in great condition, no chips etc. been using it for around 3 months and still in love! Getting lots of use :)
4.5 starsBosmarlin makes beautiful, great quality, and *big* mugs - but they're not chunky or heavy. The handle is a good, comfortable and easy to hold. It really is very pretty. But the mug does tend to get warm if reheated in the microwave for more than a minute or so. Not dangerous, but I'm cautious when I go to take it out.
Great big coffee mug! Nice weight to keep things stable.
This is a really well-made, large and durable cup.It doesn’t hurt that it’s really attractive too.I liked it so much that I bought one for each day of the week.
Bought this wonderful (21 oz.) mug because I love my coffee and those “normal” sized cups just don’t get the job done. When making coffee with Keurig K-Cup pods, I use a 10 oz. cup then a 8 oz. cup, then add my cream…and it all fits perfect! Add, to this main reason I purchased the cup, the fact that it is a lovely color, simple & pleasing design, microwave and dishwasher safe…along with a reasonable price for a quality product! I have arthritis in my hands and wrist but I have no problem lifting, holding and drinking with a full cup. Moreover, cup comes safely encased in Styrofoam then packaged in its’ own lovely box, perfect for gift giving as well. The day my cup arrived I was making a flower arrangement for a neighbor, so snapped a picture just for grins. Then the next morning while relaxing on our deck, snapped another picture with coffee in mug. Perfect start to a new day. Oh, BTW, can I mention that now my husband wants one because he says it’s a great size for soup too.
The same eight things are true of every piece we make.
Stoneware fires dense, so it holds heat and shrugs off the knock against a tap.
Mineral oxides travel in the heat, so the firing draws the line between colours.
A large mug carries a handle you can put a whole hand through.
Wide feet and even rims, so a shelf of them sits flat.

Stated on nearly every piece in the range, and true of the glaze rather than a hope.
Speckles land differently and a fade can sit higher or lower on the next piece.
As stated on the range. The care page spells out what that means.
From 8.5 oz for a cappuccino to 50 oz for a mug of soup.
Three words used loosely on the same shelf. They describe how hot the clay was fired and how much water it will still absorb, and that difference decides how a piece behaves in a dishwasher, in a microwave and against the edge of a sink.
The three words describe firing temperature and how much water the fired body still takes up. Everything else follows from that.
